The only 10 senators who voted against the Patriot Act In a vote of 89 - 10, the United States Senate today overwhelmingly approved reauthorization of 16 Patriot Act provisions. In the deal, 14 will become permanent, with two more requiring reauthorization in another four years. Below is the list of the 10 patriots who voted against the reauthorization.
